CHALLENGE

Organizing business meeting in a unique location made the project more prestigious and influences the image of the company. The historic underground spaces of the Wieliczka Salt Mine offer such a unique place, where can be hold both an intimate business meeting - gala dinner in unique salt scenery, and a corporate meeting or an integration and promotional event.The goal was to create a good atmosphere and integrate the team. This is what we offered to our client: Meeting arranged in Wieliczka Salt Mine chambers equipped with a sound system, a projector, a screen and a flipchart. Gala dinner at Warszawa chamber with excellent catering service. Polish and European cuisine prepared on site, in the underground kitchens with top-quality products. Customers had a specially composed menu for a specific event. City Game in Krakow “Legend Detectives” - a true adventure set against the city’s most popular historical monuments, museums, churches and basement as well as alleys that are not this easily found by typical tourists. During the game was tasted participant’s logic, orientation, reflexes, cleverness and creativity all-through puzzles and tasks. In funny and interesting way, everyone could found out more about Krakow’ s history, architecture, traditions. Dining around the best local restaurants in Krakow with delicious Polish and Jewish dishes and folklore entertainment.

RESULTS

The guests were given a full overview of Warsaw’s varied faces that we can be definitely proud of. They got familiar with young Polish designers, their environment, lifestyle and works of art. What’s more, the project was carried out as a workshop so that the guests have a unique possibility to try to make things on their own and either compete with one another or unite their efforts and create something together. That gave them a huge satisfaction and fun.

RESULTS

Due to perfect organisation schedule the organisation of the congress passed very smoothly. All actions were taken on time what gave us the possibility to work out the best solutions in all organisation areas. Warsaw Technical University, with many conference rooms on many floors was properly identified with signs and colours to make it easier for participants to move in this place for nearly a week. Catering areas were conveniently located on each floor in the vicinity of conference rooms. Organisation of 3 big evening events gave the participants possibility to taste some Polish flavours: Chopin’s music - during piano concert in the Holy Trinity Church, folk climate – during picnic in Wiecha Inn, private ethnographic park, known for cultivating folk traditions, history and culture – during Gala Dinner in Arkady Kubickiego in the Royal Castle.

CHALLENGE

The main aim of the show was to attract all corporate clients, MICE agencies and meetings planners, who work closely with this unusual venue and Mazurkas Group, including Mazurkas Catering – the leading caterer in the Polish Market and present the event possibilities of the venue and Mazurkas Catering. Both parties have been appointed as partners of International Broadcasting Centre for European Football Championship in June 2012. This spectacular show was supposed to be a test before the biggest event in Poland ever. The Catering Show was designed in a football scenery with different kinds of artistic performances, which were mainly related to sport. A special highlight of the event were 16 especially prepared buffets with the cuisine from countries of national teams participating in the championship. Of course there was the famous and exclusive ceremony with over 160 waiters and 60 cooks, who brought into the main hall all dishes on platters. It is a huge celebrations and amazing logistic event.

All the services were coordinated by one dedicated Mazurkas DMC Poland Project Manager, who assisted the client throughout the preparation and realization of the project. Dinners in the historic castles and palaces of the region: Krasiczyn Palace – one of the most beautiful monuments of the Polish Renaissance, Janowice Palace - picturesque venue deriving from the XVIII century, Dwór Kombornia – perfectly preserved manor house from the XVI century. At each visited cemetery a ceremony to honor the memory of the fallen soldiers with a laurel wreath was arranged. The culmination point of the program was the ceremony at the newly renovated monumental cemetery of Hijcze in Ukraine.

The challenge of the tailor-made program, which arouse great interest among the descendants of the fallen and history lovers, was to commemorate the Italian soldiers that fell in the battlefields of Western Galicia and visit some of almost 400 cemeteries spread in the area. Many participants hoped to find the graves of family members.

CHALLENGE

Our client’s request was to organize a large scale event where new products (agricultural machines) would be introduced to the dealer inattractive way. The task was also to motivate people to increase sales and also to thank them for all hard work and loyalty. Company celebrated 50th anniversary of operation on European market. Mazurkas DMC Poland offered such program:

1. Special “Welcome Coctail” was arranged in EXPO XXI in the middle of exhibition of new machines. To make guests feel special we arranged the red carpet entrance. We hired people who acted as paparazzi. They welcomed arriving guests with applause and made them feel like movie stars. Additionally there was a dynamic dancing performance with the flags representing all countries that guests came from.

2. Gala dinner was also special and one of the kind. We organized trully spectacular culinary show instead of typical standard dinner. We belive that catering is an art. Each move of catering service was carefully planned and practiced. Waiters and also chefs appeared in the room in choreographic routines. The beauty of dishes, ceremonial way of bringing them in and placing on the tables was just like a staged spectacle. Artistically decorated dishes and illumination of each entering waiter added splendor to the dinner. There was a recital of violin duo during that evening. Two ladies performed classical pieces arranged in modern way. They were sitting on the revolving stage in the middle of the room.

3. Very important aspect of this project was a practical presentation of the machines. Client wished to show how machines work outdoors, in reality. We arranged this presentation in the rural area, outside of Warsaw. The 50 ha field was well prepared for such project. We arranged parking lots, car washes, fuel stations etc. Guests took coffee breaks in the tents where they could see a multimedial presentation.

RESULTS

Mazurkas DMC Poland has definitely passed this exam, delivering the best services at the most preferential rates as for this unusual period. We had a chance to service over 6000 guests, coordinate over 250 vehicles operations per day, secure over 400 staff members and prepare series of 9 pre-match and post-match hospitality events for all the guests. All guests had an unforgettable experience in Poland and most of them would like to visit our country again.

CHALLENGE

The main challenge of all these projects were issues connected with logistics (accommodation and transportation), staffing and safety. Mazurkas DMC Poland was involved in all aspects of hospitality program starting from the major ones mentioned above through all off – site functions, formal gala dinners, sightseeing and activities programs and more. It was the biggest event in Poland ever, so the task of preparation, events execution and coordination was very difficult for the whole country.
