Venues:

  1. Palace of Culture and Science - monumental building in the very center of Warsaw, built in 1950's in socialist style, a gift from Joseph Stalin to the Polish Nation. Largest and highest structure in Poland (254 m) full of sculptures, crystal chandeliers, marble floors. A landmark, a symbol, a legend.
  2. Historical, industial interiors of Warsaw waterworks, designed in 19th century by English engineer William Lindley. Red brick interiors resemble gothic cathedral architecture.
  3. Private photo gallery of one of the best Polish photographers Tomasz Gudzowaty, award winner of such international contests as World Press Photo, Picture of the Year International, Grand Press Photo.

Audience: 80 Pax

Challenge: Client's request was an active and original team building event, urban rally, organized in unusual venues with interesting program that includes aspects of adventure, humor and mystery.

Solution: Mazurkas Travel DMC Poland offered such program:

  1. "Coctail with Joseph Stalin" in the famous viewing terrace on the 30th floor of Palace of Culture and Science. The place was arranged exclusively for the company with company's logo and colors. There was an interesting combination of old communist spirit of the building with modern profile of the company.
  2. Exceptional opera recital by world famous Polish opera solist organized in mysterious, underground interiors of Warsaw waterworks.
  3. Polish vodka sampling organized in private photo gallery located in historical interiors of Old Town tenement house. Best polish vodkas like Żubrówka, Wyborowa and traditional snacks were served.
  4. Recital of legendary street band "Orkiestra z Chmielnej" - very famous in Poland for cultivating urban folklore. The band performed during lunch in "communist style" restaurant.

Tools: Mazurkas Travel is a leading DMC company in Poland with years of experience and excellent contracts. We were able to arrange this event in unique, non-commercial places, that are generally not opened to public for private parties.

Results: Guests enjoyed very original and interesting program arranged in unique places. Warsaw has shown its various faces and different charms. The stereotype of Warsaw being rather not attractive city was neglected. All guests were very satisfied and surprised that our city has so much to offer in culture and architecture.

Why Mazurkas Travel: This special project took much creativity and hard research work. The task was to create an unusual program in unusual places. When we finally presented this offer to the very demanding client we knew we had the best possible vision and idea for this event.
